Please find below some practical tips to stay safe and secure during the festive season:

• Protect your home by using timers for lights, securing valuables out of sight, and locking doors with deadbolts.
• If you’re planning on being away, let a trusted neighbour know, and avoid sharing travel plans on social media.
• Be mindful of doorstep thefts of parcels and dispose of packaging discreetly to avoid attracting attention.
• Check tree lights for safety, unplug them when unattended, and place trees away from heat sources.
• Never leave candles unattended, and keep them away from flammable materials.
• Ensure your valuables, like jewellery or high-value gifts, are properly insured. If you’re unsure, ask us!
